Can I contact the Citizens' Stamp Advisory Committee by email?

No, there is no public email address for the committee. Messages of support must be sent in the form of cards, letters, or paper petitions to:
                 John Lennon Stamp
                 264 S. La Cienega Blvd., Ste. 702
                 Beverly Hills, CA 90211

Why start so soon if the goal is a stamp in 2010?

Three years is the suggested lead time for any commemorative stamp, and it must coincide with a major milestone. In this case, the milestone is John Lennon’s 70th birthday.  The committee only meets four times a year, and once approved, proposals still need time for design and production. See the USPS web site for more details.

When will you present the letters to the CSAC?

We plan to present the letters to the CSAC in a major media event shortly after we receive letter number 1,000,000.  In the event that we have not received 1,000,000 letters by mid 2007, we will present the received letters to the committee at that time.

Why shouldn’t I just mail my letter directly to the CSAC?

We want to make the greatest impact possible.  By presenting all the letters at one time with the media present, the committee will not be able to ignore us.

Send no money. This is a public cause for action.
